Dog Story: Hello! My name is Trouble, I mean Tally. I am two years old and full of spunk and energy! I love being outside, chasing birds, and playing with my foster sister Lucy. My foster mom thought about changing my name to Ethel since Lucy and I seem to stir things up wherever we go but I guess I had a hard time learning Tally so we stuck with that. I can also run like the wind and jump buildings in a single bound with my springy legs! Other favorite past times include snuggling on the couch in the evening, belly rubs, playing with my foster sister, laying on the deck first thing in the morning, watching/following my foster mom while she cleans or gets ready for work. Foster mom here! I have had Tally for about 2 months now and she has shown so much improvement in that time. When she came here, she really didn’t know how to live with other dogs, there was the usual snarling and barking, but that is a thing of the past. She loves to play with Lucy now and boy is she vocal when she plays! Tally is housebroken, crate trained, sleeps there at night as well as when I am at work. When it comes to leash walking though, that is another story and Tally still needs work in that area. As stated above, Tally is FAST! She would really do well in the Agility ring with some work. Tally will do best with experienced active Brittany owners as she has the classic personality and quirkiness that we all love about the breed. A fenced-in yard is a must as she had been on an E collar with her prior owners and they did not use it correctly with her. She sees anything resembling one and she cowers. Maybe with slow and loving training she can someday overcome her fear of one. All in all, Tally is a sweet, happy girl who wants to please. If you are interested in Tally and could give her the happy ever after she deserves, please fill out the adoption application and mention her name and ID #. Tally is up to date on her vaccines and on heartworm preventative. Tally was turned into the local shelter by her owner, she was not fitting in with the family.
